JETCO, a nonprofit that gives scholarships to children attending Jewish day schools in Southern Arizona, was using spreadsheets to manage its donor records. With a tight budget and a staff of just two half-time employees and some volunteers, the organization knew it needed an affordable solution to reduce manual data entry and improve data accuracy.
JETCO turned to Cathexis Partners to set up the Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) CRM solution, which offers the first 10 licenses at no charge, for a powerful yet easy-to-use donor management solution. As part of the project, the Cathexis team moved JETCO’s data from spreadsheets into the new database and trained the organization on how to use the NPSP.
JETCO expects that the new CRM solution will reduce time-consuming and error-prone manual data entry by:
- Automatically creating contact records and donation records in the NPSP when donations are made online
- Feeding donation data from the NPSP into accounting software when needed
- Allowing staffers and volunteers to quickly and easily access donation data and
run reports
In addition to setting up JETCO’s NPSP environment, Cathexis Partners created a new WordPress website, helped set up Click & Pledge™ for online donation forms and processing, and integrated JETCO’s instance of the NPSP with MailChimpTM for email marketing. The Cathexis team also provides ongoing support.
